Faith can be held for a moment and then let go.
Moral excellence can be a single high point.
Knowledge can go so far or one can only go a short way in it, not all the way.
Self-control can be tired of.
Perseverance will keep on to the end!
It travels with the following other qualities:
Encouragement
Love
Gentleness
Purpose
Deeds
Toil
Service
It opens the way to what comes after it.
